Meet Costis
Costis Bastias is the founder of the Wayfare Advisory. Born in Athens but shaped internationally, Costis views origin & heritage not as a boundary, but as a source of inspiration to be shared. He spent his formative years in the UK, took on roles focused on operational efficiency and performance, and earned his MBA with Honors from Warwick Business School, focusing on branding and strategy.
Drawn to hospitality as the premier playground for crafting emotional experiences across the customer journey, Costis transitioned into entrepreneurship — creating differentiated brands through his own ventures and developing the concept of Authentic Hospitality: a philosophy centered on long-term, sustainable value creation through the delivery of the best possible brand experience, rather than short-term returns.

Lick the SpoonThe Celebration Patisserie concept, centered around the creation of unique, personalized desserts upon consultation with the customer.

Kokkini SvouraEstablished in 2011, Svoura played a pivotal role in shaping the modern Athenian Bar-Bistro.
By introducing personalised service, the exclusive use of fresh ingredients and house-made products across both bar and kitchen, and differentiation through product originality, Svoura built a reputation that spread widely and deeply.
